It's a potluck party!  And all quick preserved, store-bought, not from Cured-Mag directly items are totally welcome! This is simply a celebration of an exciting new publication laser focused on one of the most rewarding skills to have command of in the kitchen-- preservation. Drop by.

The ItaliaNites presents a viewing of Giuseppe Tornatore's Malèna in celebration of la Festa delle Donne (International Women's Day). A coming of age film, it follows one teenage boy’s infatuation with a village siren during World War II Sicily. Conversazione to follow on the parallels between the perception of women in traditional and contemporary Sicilian and American cultures.

To gather the evidence and be like little detectives of what we should burn, what we should foster, and what we should create. And of course, have a safe space to laugh and cry together.

STORIES MY FRIENDS TELL MEWEDNESDAY → MAR 29FREE, 7pmAs Donald Trump begins to destroy American society as we know it, it's more important than ever for creative people to build community and respond to nihilism with meaning. With that in mind, Stories My Friends Tell Me is a series (hosted by Chris Cobb) where friends have five to ten minutes each to tell an important story from their lives.

Join us for our first Revoltutionary Feast when we celebrate The Arch Conspirators, a group of six friends from Greenwich Village who climbed to the top of the Washington Square Arch in 1917, picnic baskets in tow, and declared that the Village was a Free and Independent Republic. A few notable guests: John Sloan and Marcel Duchamp.

It is simple: The first Wednesday of the month is reserved for crafting times. Bring your work in progress and supplies (or borrow some of ours)!
