With that in mind, Stories My Friends Tell Me is a series (hosted by Chris Cobb) where friends have five to ten minutes each to tell an important story from their lives.

Each month we choose a book, cook from it at home, then come together the first Tuesday of the month with a favorite dish to share. It's a potluck party! Drop by.

It is simple: The first Wednesday of the month is reserved for crafting times. Bring your work in progress and supplies (or borrow some of ours)!

Attention all outsiders---Come check out the Food Picture Show, a new series at Archestratus exploring food and film. Grab a snack, a drink, and settle in. In Ali: Fear Eats Soul, an almost accidental romance is kindled between a German woman in her mid-sixties and a Moroccan migrant worker around twenty-five years younger.

If you are passionate about the welfare of our neighborhood cats, join us for Greenpoint Cat Club, a new monthly meet-up group at Archestratus. Let's come together to try and understand the complex and emotional issues relating to outdoor cats, combat cat overpopulation, and keep local cats safe and healthy.

REVOLUTIONARY FEASTS: THE ARCH CONSPIRATORSFRIDAY → APR 28$25, 7:30pm

Join us for our first Revoltutionary Feast when we celebrate The Arch Conspirators, a group of six friends from Greenwich Village who climbed to the top of the Washington Square Arch in 1917, picnic baskets in tow, and declared that the Village was a Free and Independent Republic. A few notable guests: John Sloan and Marcel Duchamp. Ticket includes picnic fare and a glass of wine.

WOMEN'S TABLESATURDAY → APR 29FREE, 11:30amWomen's Table is a monthly summit for all of us to come together in a sustained way and figure out a new path. To gather the evidence and be like little detectives of what we should burn, what we should foster, and what we should create. And of course, have a safe space to laugh and cry together.
