Our passionate, inquisitive friend Beatrice Ughi, founder of the Italian import company Gustiamo and lover of incredible ingredienti, will also be there to honor the legendary couple.Expect a book signing, short discussion with Victor and Beatrice, and plenty of Marcella inspired foods. (Think Arancine with her famous Ragu, Pizza with her braised Escarole recipe, and more). Each ticket includes a hearty glass of wine (Jack Daniels in spirit). Not to be missed.

Cook through INGREDIENTI during the month of JUNE and drop by with your favorite dish on JUL 11—all are welcome! Ingredienti is Marcella Hazan's last book, her last words, finished by her husband, Victor. Here, her warm, opinionated voice is stronger than ever, delving out further rules, personal anecdotes, and simple, seasonal recipes. Marcella proved that a meal with as little as three ingredients could be remarkable, so the plan is to cook simply and seasonally this June using her voice as our guide.

This day, one year ago, was Marcella’s last. On September 29th, at 9:30, her great heart stopped. We had been together, as a woman and man who merged into an indivisible unit, for sixty years. I am now split in two. One part of me breathes life in and out each day at life’s own pace, accepting life’s demands, carried forward by life’s aloof momentum. My other half continues to be with Marcella. I speak to her all day in Italian, out loud when I am alone. I now cook for myself, and I ask her advice, divining her responses.- Victor Hazan
