Lil' Deb's of Hudson, NY is heading to Archie's and we couldn't be more excited to host! Come celebrate the release of PLEASE WAIT TO BE TASTED: The Lil Deb's Oasis Cookbook with author Carla Kaya Perez-Gallardo and host Amiel Stanek. Expect snacks, drinks, a cute convo, Q + A, signing, and mingling. ◢ The book serves up tropical comfort recipes, alongside musings on wine, music, love, sex, friendship, and fashion. At Lil' Deb's Oasis in the Hudson Valley of New York, chefs Carla Kaya Perez-Gallardo and Hannah Black, both art school graduates, have created a bright, welcoming, rainbow-colored, LGBTQ+ inclusive community, where guests are treated to hot, sticky, juicy, moist fever dreams of flavor. ◢

We are are deeply in June and surrounded by so much beautiful produce. Fava leaves are mildly sweet and fava-like. Eat them raw in a salad, or lightly battered and fried with a lil lemon. We also have a million strawberries from upstate NY (make the strawberry granita from this book), red russian kale, garlic scapes, bok choy, Eagle Street lavender, dill and much more.

♡ The Book Party for Murder on the Bluffs was a success! It was truly thrilling to have comedian Lily Marotta and iconic poet Eileen Myles at the shop to celebrate the release of "Rosalind Terrace's latest novel..."♡

Summer vacation, si: The FOODS side of the shop will be closed from June 29th to July 3rd. BOOKS will remain open that week and still be carrying She Wolf Bread and Rainbow Cookies!
