Class is back in session tomorrow and we have just one spot left. If you are interested in getting both a highly creative and practical foundation in food writing -- just go for it! It's a great class and we have been offering it over and over for years. The professor, Devra Ferst, is an incredible resource who writes all the time for the most powerful outlets in food.

No. 2 →  Hi hi, this week is funny because we have three events in a row! All at 6p. Not messing around, if anyone comes to all three we will name you customer of the year! The title comes with cake.

No. 3 →  TUESDAY  Join us as we celebrate the new cookbook from restaurant editor Hillary Dixler Canavan of the food and dining culture brand Eater and its dedicated team of experts.   Finalamente! All the must-eat recipes via the most popular influential restaurants across the country have now been compiled into one shiny new cookbook made for all of us.    Expect a casual chatty atmosphere with a conversation between Hillary Dixler Canavan and Stephanie Wu (Editor-in-Chief of Eater) to start at 6:15, a Q + A with all of you will follow, and, to end, a book signing.    Arrive early for a special toast with Eater! Tix.

From Ancient Rome to Al-Andalus in Spain, from the Ethiopian Empire to nineteenth-century New York City.    Expect a casual chatty atmosphere with sweet, (precious lil) historical snacks from Chef Jay, a chat with the authors to start around 6:45, a Q + A with all of you, and book signing. Tix.

THURSDAY  How do you make a cookbook come to life?  How do you shoot a visually stunning cookbook that highlights chili crisp in ALL the photos without making it feel repetitive?  How do you capture an author’s personality and stories in a solely visual medium?   Join us at the shop as we find the answers to these questions all whilst celebrating James Park's delicious new cookbook Chili Crisp: 50+ Recipes to Satisfy Your Spicy, Crunchy, Garlicky Cravings. James will be moderating a panel with his creative team: Heami Lee (Photographer), Pearl Jones (Food Stylist), and Gozde Eker (Prop stylist), for a spicy, fun conversation.    Expect the panel discussion to start just after 6p, a Q + A with all of you, complimentary sweet and savory snacks from the book, and a signing. Tix.
