THIS IS A BIG ONE. It’s numero uno for a reason. Taking a look at our small furniture pieces to very large millwork, and making a purchase for yourself or passing this sale along to someone opening up a shop or filling a home. Many of these were custom pieces whose quality will last a lifetime. I realize that sounds a little overblown, I realize that some things are starting out on the pricier side, but it’s true — everything is either a turn-of-the-century industrialist piece forged of friggin iron or custom cabinetry built from hard cherry or ash wood. No MDF. Most items were made by local craftspeople. We are still measuring everything, but shoot us an email at [email protected] if interested and need more info. ◢ SHOP

Purchase the last of our Totes, Tees, and Hats. Fill up your tote with groceries from the farmer’s market this summer, wear our light tee’s to the beach, share a knowing glance with a stranger - remember the times we had.
All items have been delivered to the shop with the exception of the red ‘fertile ruin’ bags, which were finally shipped to us today and will arrive next week. ◢ SHOP

Purchase a rare book. In the early days of the shop, our favorite thing to do was go picking for vintage cookbooks. Papa would drive us to a booksale, we’d first find a chair for Nonna, and then start going wild in the cookbook section. I will miss the look of fear in the eyes of my fellow booksale hunters as they saw me coming. For a few minutes, I was a little famous in those parts.
Anyways, note that the rare books are going on sale for 30% off on April 5th, but snag your must-haves now. ◢ SHOP

COME physically to the shop! At this point, we have so many rando fun things for sale that are not on the website. All sorts of storage boxes and plates and appliances and vintage items we were hoarding…Even though we are closing in 30 days, new items are being added daily. Hope to see you soon!

Subscribe to a paid recipe version of the paige LIPARI ISLAND newsletter.
Since the first week of the shop (October 2015), we have had a newsletter, and it’s only been in the last few months that I could not write it. This has been for many, many reasons. Losing family, getting sick, getting better, beginning to take on the giant task of closing up shop, etc.
The LIPARI ISLAND newsletter will gleefully be returning in May. I cannot wait to share more Sicilian recipes with you, share my past and future travels, my famiglia, my creative endeavors and a lot more. I hope it is a place to feel a little cleansed, a little cleared, a little silly, maybe a lil sad, and always super pumped.
For current paid subscribers, If you would like a refund or a gift card or a piece of store merch to make up for the absent months in 2026, we could not be happier to do that for you. Send us a message at information@archestrat. us and state your preference. We will make it happen. Otherwise, thank you for your donation to the shop and for sticking with us through the sticky bit.

our LAST in person events
Four nights of free music events, our LAST cookbook club, a poetry reading, a few film mornings/nights, our last author event, a cheese tasting paired with literature, a funeral potluck and a giant meandering last day involving more music, picnicking, a closing ritual, and acoustic karaoke.
